Hi All,

Just got myself 1 of these little beauties and was wondering how you guys carb them up? Im used to the 18l jobs which i leave at 50 psi for a day and they always turn out great. The real question is do i halve the time or the preasure or do something completely different? Does anyone Ross these little beauties?

Thanks
Thorby

I can't answer for sure but I'd imagine it would be similar.
What I do with mine is fill them from the already carbonated big keg using the method outlined here
It is airlocked in the gear and equipment section.

I use the same carbonation schedule for 11 litre, 18 litre and 45 litre kegs.
The different sizes just consume a different amount of gas, but result in the same carbonation level.

Beers,
Doc

Leaving it hooked up at 50psi will give exactly the same carbonation no matter what keg size. The only difference will be in the time it takes to reach "equilibrium" ie when you beer is as carbonated as its gonna get and the partial pressure of dissolved CO2 is equal to the gas pressure.

Or something like that :D
