Does anyone know if bottles such as Franziskaner and Schofferhofer can be reused?
I haven't seen a "Do NOT REUSE" emboss on the glass at all.

Sweet! Beer Club after Aikido is going to have to get use to drinking more weizens and weiss beers LOL
Cheers for the answer I was hoping for!

I use them

Have heaps of weihenstephen bottles as wells

I use them also i find them a good size, if you want more than a stubby but less than a longneck.

1 Carb drop seems to give just the right amount of bubbles

That was actually going to be my next question due to the fact that it's 500ml.

Yeah 1 drop, err on the side of caution.
Once you start collecting 330ml bottles, look into Bulk priming information.

Since the bottles are made for wheat beers which have higher carbonation than other beers, there is a significant chance that the german breweries use slightly thicker glass as well which makes them a perfect candidate for home brewers.
I am permanently looking for these types of bottles as I love the size.

Cheers

Schoefferhofer bottles are a little on the thin side, but I've reused them again and again without any problems. Most of the other Weizen bottles seem very strong.
