The Technology centre for this group of companies is based in Sydney. AB Mauri Technology and Development (ABM T&D) provides technical leadership and support to the global operations in the areas of microbiology, fermentation and engineering.

This exciting new position is a key role within the newly created Innovation and Development group of AB Mauri. The Innovation and Development Group is the driver of new business opportunities and technical solutions which improve operational performance.

The Role:

The role will require leadership of a team of fermentation technologists to develop new and improved fermentation technologies applicable to the business.

The appointee will report to the Director of Innovation and Development. Some overseas travels will be required.

Appointment:

The appointment is a key part of the new innovation platform for the company and you will be required to be of the highest calibre.

You will have:-

* At least a first degree in a relevant Technical Subject, higher degree is preferred
* At least 10 years experience in a fermentation role
* At least 3 years experience of leading a team of people, with strong leadership skills
* Demonstrated ability to identify and follow through on new opportunities
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills
* Experience in the food or yeast industry would be an advantage

awwww bugger - and Ive just started all grain home brewing! Sounds great - I guess I could lie and tell em I still just do kits which apprently is just a fermentation assistant! - which apparently has absolutely nothing to do with home brewing.
