Hi everyone,

I was hoping someone has come across the same issue I’m having. I was bought the BM Mobil and have tried to connect to the unit. Unfortunately the firmware on my unit is too old for the BM Mobil to operate (is turns the BM off as soon as I plug the wifi module in). I know there is a cable you can get to connect between the unit and a computer but it costs just as much as the Mobil.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to upgrade the forward without the extra cable and use the Mobil somehow.

Hi WakeyHB. The only cable you need is the one that came with the wifi module. When it is connected between your pc and BM the power should be off anyway. https://www.speidels-braumeister.de/en/service/downloads.html for the latest firmware upgrade.
