Hi guys,

I have a recipe for a blackberry baltic porter which involves making 19L of porter then making 19L of mead. I want to know how to make the mead. The recipe only has 6.5kg blackberries and 6.5kg of Tupelo honey then it says to blend to taste with the porter after 6 months. The mead recipe is for 19L also.

Should I get the honey and the blackberries and then add water to makeup 19L?
What should I do about pasteurising the honey and blackberries?

Or any links or good info you might know of?
