As the title suggest.
It is a great article in giving you a general idea of what beerstone is when it occurs and how to remove it.
I am a little lazy so her is a link saving me writing an article about it.
BEERSTONE!
I use 2% caustic in Kettle and diluted half or more again in fermenters.
Rinse with hot water
Then I add Acid Sanitiser and thorouhgly rinse with cold water.
I always rinse again with boiling water.

+1 Caustic then Phos Acid, clean as, waiting to try PBW

Screwy

PBW is fantastic, got some on PaulH's advise and gave the kettle a soak overnight, the beerstone softens up beautifully.

cheers
