Beer Smith

Hey guys,

Im trying to get a hang of beersmith. I have almost got all my equipment ready to give all grain a go and i thought i would copy this recipe here http://www.aussiehomebrewer.com/forum/inde...&recipe=651 . I only want to make a 25L batch so i halved the quantitys but when i enter it into beersmith it gives me an exclamation mark next to the grain i have selected. Also is the alchohol section right?

Btw the grain amount is 5kg.

Change the Type at the top from Extract to All Grain will remove the exclamation mark in front of the grain as there is no grain involved when doing extracts.

Beersmith can be a bit daunting at first, but after playing around with it for a while I have no idea how I would going back to my old spreadsheet!
