I naturally primed a keg of lager about a month ago now and when i try to connect the gas beer pours out and a little went into the line.

Anything know that the problem is and how to rectify it?

Burp the keg. It is too full and has a higher pressure than the gas line.

Too much pressure in the keg compared to your set pressure.

Release the pressure in the keg before connecting.

Did the beer go up to the reg? If it did you'll need to clean the reg.

Get yourself a one way valve for the gas line to protect future accidents

That answered a question for me. I just kegged a porter and put a layer of CO2 on the top. I obviously overdid it and just a small amount of beer came out of the post. It was just a small amount so after reading this I'm not concerned.

A brew or two ago i had a massive brain fart being a lazy ******* and hit the preassure release on regulator on a burst carbed keg after dialing back the regulator. I had a healthy fill on that keg and i had nice foamy preassure release valve on first squirt !
So yeah one way valve and cleaned out regulator...

Thanks for all the replies, i am kinda embarrassed to say that all it was, was a dodgy post O-ring, i changed it and now nothing leaks.
