Hi,

I found this recipe the other day and desided to give it a go. The result was excellent, the sauce really made the dish and was nice change from a regular gravy.

Even the wife and kids liked it! (Alcohol is removed during the cooking).

I used Crown Lager, Australian Mustard and Campbell's Liquid Beef Stock. Rump Steak cooked on the BBQ to Medium-Rare and cut into 1cm slices.

Cheers.

This is the same recipe that smurto posted in january, he got it out of the age....

I've done it using a dark mild (or it might have been a Bitter? can't recall...), very nice.

no big suprise there. thats why people just pour beer straight from the can/bottle they are drinking from onto the bbq. makes lovely flavours.

Bloody Womball, has a lot to answer for.....

Reminder of such a nice recipe......I'm doing it tonight.

edit: The power of suggestion is strong, in this one. Jedi mind tricks?

lol, I didn't see this posted on the site anywhere so I thought I'd share the experiance.

well worth the repeat....
Just finished this for tea....
