Hi There. I was looking at a tap and saw a product that comes beer line and gas line (gas line seems to be thicker and clear)..

I bought some stuff a while back, and I cannot remember if the called it beer line or gas line, but I think I have used beer line for a gas line... I have not found any issues but just wondered if there could be?

I would not think so but width of tube might be an issue with pressure...dunno..

cheers

ah lots of research for you.
gas line is not an issue, just make sure its leak free.
look at beer line length, beer line diameter, balancing your keg.
and finally beer line resistance.
there are spreadsheets and formulas. so have a read up then ask away.

are you asking if beer and gas lines are interchangeable, generally yes, so long as the beer lines have been rinsed out and doesn't smell of anything nasty, stale beer, vinyl, that kind of thing.
there's no rules saying you can't. just use a bit of "would i drink beer out of this" common sense.

depends on the pliability of the line and the space you have to work with too.
if the line is denser, it'll be less prone to kinks and therefore blocking your flow, but it's not ideal where you have space limitations. and vice versa.
