Abbot had a Light Beer Shandy....

Gillard had a local Craft Beer!

It was in Raymond Terrace - it might have been a Murray's Beer?!

Got me excited because i'm going to Murray's in couple of weeks, & it's probably my fave brewery!

I heard this too except Abbot had a MIDDY of light beer shandy & Gillard has a SCHOONER of STOUT

Bit of role reversal going on here

A shandy? I wonder if the bartender even knew what it was, they are getting pretty rare

Well we've all see Abbott in his budgie smugglers, I'd say Gillard has bigger balls

Hahaha that's awesome. Was she really drinking a schooner of craft brewed stout?

And a mid-strength shandy ahahahahaha. I guess that's a big day out for the church boy.

You guys believe everything you read in the newspapers?? I wonder haw much of it she
actually drank??

Talk about trivial!!!

Didn't Obama already do this during the US election circus? Caused quite a stir at the time I recall.

Borrowing slogans from the U.S President, chugging beer like a U.S President, what will she think of next?

Gillard for President.

Oh wait she's already covered that.

So who's going to brew a Welsh Red beer in honour of Gillard?

... or will it be a Holy Communion lager top with a budgie feather sticking out of it?

I'd like to see the result if any pollie drank a pint of Wild Thing :D .

I ought to give Jon Sullivan a 40 oz of my American Malt Liquor, that would set him on his arse.

Second thoughts that's exactly where he's been for the last 3 years anyway. <_<

It all reminds me of little Willy Hague ... anyone else remember this?

14 pints a day

Bony Tabbot should try being a real iron man.

Actually the Mad Monk's approach is more in keeping with Hitler's model of strength... shades of Nuremberg 1935?

"For what matters is not merely how many glasses of beer he can drink, but how many blows he can withstand, not how many nights he can spend doing the rounds of the bars and pubs but how many kilometers he can march."

Seen it on the news. was quite funny.............

Tony Abbott- Can I have a light shandy please with about 60% lemonade............then cut to Gillard chuggin on her pint of stout.

well Ross has done quite well with his Obamarama Black IPA.........maybe it time for Screwy to brew an Arangatanga Irish Red although we know it wouldn't be a fcukin Irish Red :D

Cheers

Don't be too hasty to applaud Gillard - apparently she called a schooner a "stout" - so she probably wanted a schooner of "beer" but ended up with the dark stuff!!

Did you see her sipping at it too? A real drinker doesn't sip like that...

But Abbott - shandy! thats just wrong...
