i myself have been looking into bulk priming also. to reduce the amount of trub sucked into PV i would(and am going to do so after a week of cold crashing) syphon from top down. the tap is a little too close to the crap i want to stay away from in my opinion.
on an unrelated note when i bulk prime as the general rule of thumb says i will be using 180g of dex for 23lt batch. any rough guesses as to what this is in volume? ie.... 3/4 cups? i have yet to buy a set of diggies and will probly be broke after i buy rackin cane and another brew and another fermenter for RV.
