Ok, so im planning to brew on the weekend, and here is what i have at my disposal at the moment

Cans

Coopers Canadian Blonde 1.7kg
Tooheys Special Lager 1.7kg

Sugars

Dextrose (3kg)
Coopers #1 sugar pack (1kg)
Candi Sugar (500g)
Light Malt (500g)

Hops

Saaz
Tettang
Fuggles
Pride of Ringwood
East Kent

Grain (Pre cracked, about 600g of each)

Minich
Amber

Yeast (all white labs liquid)

Belgian Yeast
San Francisco
London Ale
Coopers Sparkling (from coopers bottles)



I have been collecting ingredients, and have lost my way a bit

Just keen to get everyones knowledge about what is the best way to combine some of these ingredients !!

If i need to purchase anything else, please make some suggestions

Hey Ian,
Probably the best way to utilise the Tooheys Lager is to do a toucan with the blonde.

Try the 500g malt with about 250g dex, about 20g of East Kent @ 10mins, and use the coopers yeast, made to 24litres.
Not a fan of Tooheys kits, flavour wise, but have made a few blondes, one with a can of Coopewrs Real ale wich turned out fairly good.

Save ya grain and other gear for an extract at a later time, maybe get some liquid amber malt.
Perhaps someone with more extract knowledge can make a suggestion here.

I'd go the following:
Blonde kit
500g Light malt
500g Dex
300g Amber steeped
25g Saaz for 10min
Coopers yeast
Made up to 22 L
 
How about this....

Download the [topic="0"]Spreadsheet[/topic] and select some thing that you may like to try. Then change things to suit what you have.

It takes a little bit of getting used to, but as many others have stated, it is a great resource.
