Oh crap............... Darren has got anther thing to worry about now, other than Botulism, bronchiolitis obliterans, as if he did not have enough on his plate. ;)
 
Don't they know anything? Just let it rest for 2 days at 18 degrees after they've popped it and the diacetyl will be gone!
