Ladies and Gents,

My first attempt at an IPA. The recipe is below. Any comments would be appreciated. Also it will be dry hooped in the secondary with 20g of progress. May also hop in the keg, but don't know what to use yet...

I haven't gone too over board with the hops, I think it comes out at 60 IBU's...

Have you used Super Alpha to flavour before? I was under the impression it was best as just a bittering addition, but I could be wrong. I'd be very tempted to switch the Super Alpha and the Nelson Sauvin for both additions, mmm melony and delightful. IBUs look alright for style/OG.

Also not sure why you have 500g of pilsener malt in there... I'd just replace with more Munich! I love Munich.

Either way.. it's gonna be pretty good anyway (neglecting infections, stuff ups, whatever) so keep tabs on what you like and dislike about the beer and adjust next time.

Use something simple and clean like US-05.

I've made my two last IPA's with ALL pilsner malt and they have turned out beautifully, just go read the vic xmas in july tatsing thread. sure its not true to style but thats why i love this no rule hobby!
