I put on a black IPA (karma citra clone) on the weekend with an OG of 1.6.

4 days into fermentation i check up on it and the airlock has over-blown with the krausen (Im assuming anyway)

There was 100-200ml overflow, mostly very thick, very bitter liquid, like what would normally be left at the bottom of the FV

The airlock is now full of the same blow-over material instead of water. There is still a lot of positive pressure

Is there any action I need to take here?

I did push the volume of the FV a bit - its a standard size and it was a 25L batch. Could this have contributed?

Definately dont want this batch to be ruined....it seemed so so positive!

Clean the top of the lid (don't remove), clean air lock and sanitise both. Place a towel/clean rag around the base of the airlock to absorb any further overflow.
Cheers

FYI the thick, bitter liquid is predominantly yeast. Depending on the time during fermentation this can be collected and direct-pitched into a future brew. Using a blowoff tube into sterilised water is a simple and clean way to harvest this yeast.
