Hello,

I'm thinking of buying a wine fridge for aging beer such as coopers vintage and making camembert cheese.

I just wanted to find out if others use wine fridge for aging beers such as vintage? (I know a fair few probably use a temperature control thermostat attached to a normal fridge.)
and if so do you lie the bottles on there side like a wine or can you stand them up by removing some racks? (I know there is big debate about whether to stand upright or not!!)

I think most of the budget range don't have humidity control but I assume a cup of water in the fridge at approx 14 degrees would be enough to create a humid environment??

Also is there anything else I should look out for when buying it?

Thanks.

It's what I do, mainly because I want to keep some nice beers out of the heat. Ours is set at 14C and is around a 50/50 split with good red and beers such as Wild Thing, Anniversary Ale and Coopers Vintage.
