So long story short I somehow left off 5kg of pilsner malt to have a grain bill to brew 2 IPAs. So now I am left with this and am thinking I should brew 2 session IPAs. Can't find too many recipe's except for a founders all day ipa.

Any points with these ingredients

I also have around 400g of crystal medium and 100g of biscuit left over from my last brew sesh

I brew session IPAs as if I'm brewing a special bitter for the malt base then only have a clean bittering hop for about 10 IBUs and then another 30 to 40 IBUs as late hops (I no chill so 1/2 go in at flameout as a 15 min boil in beersmith and 1/2 go in the cube (transferred 15ish min later) as a 20 min steep). Seems to work

That said, not sure you have enough base malts there to get 2 brews

Just a point I read the first line of your ingredients and quit.

That's a pain in the ass to read.

stick to your original recipes but split the base grain between the two, mash high and quick to compensate for body.
ie 70 for 30mins then mash out. It'll turn out great. Find some of the threads discussing milds and mashing technique for that style.

Mm hard reading, lovin mosiac. Probably won't have to go to hard with the dry hop since its low alc, what yeast u got

I like the arse of my avatar :icon_drool2:

Think I got it right.

Edit... OCD kicked in

with those quantities of hops vs the lack of grain, I personally would put in another order of grain for a 3rd batch and top up what you forgot.

brew 1 IPA as your original recipe and then do your double batch once the second shipment arrives.
