sounds good thats for sure. Not sure how it works but seems like it would make cleaning easier I would still sanitise as well as its just a film by the sounds of it and stuff will wash straight off. Would like to know how long it would last I guess if you scrubbed the surface it would take the film off?? but does sound like the go if the price can be worth while

Except there's a world of difference between 'clean' and 'sanitary' (although that could just be the journo using poor word choice) so I'd be cautious.

But if it's for real, it could still mean big things....fermenter walls that krausen cannot stick to, hose interiors that cannot stain. Other articles mention resistantance to heat, but I wonder what it's temp ranges are and it's resistance to other chemicals is like..........Although one does have to wonder what the world of the future will be like, and whether these discoveries will lead to us becoming a species of introverted detached germophobes who can't sit down because all of our chairs & clothes have been treated with this stuff...so we just slide right off . We're mostly water......is it people resistant?

They say it's harmless to living things......hmmmmm...of course it is......where have I heard that before? They also say that the standard version is 'anti-microbial' & there is an anti-bacterial version.......does that make it 'yeast unfriendly'? (or for that matter safe to consume?)

How can it be anti-microbial and not harm living things?
