2014 Tasmanian International Beer Festival

2013 was my first Tassie Beer Fest.

Wasn't quite sure what to expect. Was it going to be full of bogans out just to get pissed?

The festival ended up being one of the best weekends away on record. Civilised. Beautiful weather (although that's not to be guaranteed). Great beer. But mostly good company.

Anyone going to this year's event? 14 and 15 November.

Looks like a good line up of exhibitors, I tried a Moa beer a few weeks back and really enjoyed it so would be keen to try a few different ones from their range.

You hate the venue? Constitution dock is an awesome spot for a beer festival!

Moa was at GABS this year. The range was good with a few cracking beers. A couple were so-so, but mostly cracking.

Anyone who's going, I highly suggest checking out the Panhead beers from NZ, I've been sampling a few of their brews on a regular basis from St John's up here and they all kick goals.
