200L Blichmann Boilermaker 3 vessel brewery for sale.

We're upgrading our gear and sadly must sell our first brewery. Sale includes:

3 x Blichmann Boilermaker 200L vessels - including sight glasses, thermometers, ball valves, lids.
1 x mash plate
1 x HopBlocker
2 x duck bill wok burners and gas lines and regulator
1 x HopRocket
1 x massive steel brew stand
1 x Therminator heat exchange
various hoses, all with 1/2" fittings

This system is 3 years old and has punched out over 400 batches of awesome ale, with plenty more brews still left in her. Has some slight wear and tear (as would be expected from a working brewery).

Serious buyers only, you're also welcome to come and check it out in South Nowra. Give us a buzz on 0428 293 132 or email [email protected]. POA

Cheers,

Tim

Hey Tim, I love the beer you've brewed on this awesome-looking rig. It's too big for me, but best of luck with the sale. Very happy to hear you're doing well and upgrading!

Cheers,

matto

Not a serious buyer but any chance you could post some pics. The wife is taking the kids out tonight and I'll have a little 'me' time. :icon_drool2:

Good luck with the upgrade.

Isn't asking the price POA in a way? LOL.

At retail, pots alone are worth $3600 + the rest...

I would be tipping it is well worth about 5-6K, if a complete solution and proven performance.

IMO, ONLY. By no means what OP wants to sell for just wanted to get my post count up :p

Still, a killer rig for sale, some one buy it before I get too drunk and want it for myself!

Pics? I am heading over to Cams and we can go circle....

EDIT: BTW - love your beers HD!!

Cost extra for additional flames?? Sorry could not resist ...

Just Google”Hop dog BeerWorks” and you’ll find pics of Tim and the brewery.

Would be a great rig for a reasonable sized brew club that could do a group brew day or for case swaps ect. I don't know just rambling stuff out onto the interwebs maybe I've been hooking into the kegs tonight :chug: ....

A little big for my needs at this time.

Want it so bad...

I didn't say "exactly" 200 litres, I said somewhere around 200 litres. I'm no rocket scientist but it isn't a stretch to estimate you'd get 160+ litres of finished wort. Or you could just send a pm

How did you reckon that Cocko ?

I assume 200 litre ~ 55 gallon
These retail for USD $670
and USD $865 with a false bottom (ref: http://store.homebrewheaven.com/boilermaker-brewing-pots---75-gallons-to-55-gallons-p1646.aspx )

That gives a total USD $2205 == AUD $2360 (mid-market rates)

Makes me wonder if I have found the wrong pots or something.

cheers,
-kt

Edit: only included one plain pot, not 2x in calcualtion

From my research almost all of the suppliers in the state s won't ship these out side the USA . The few that do are about 10-15% cheaper. I think that the limited AUS suppliers are 'reasonable with there price' .

And if these are the pots I think they are. They hold 208lts.

If They are the 208L, based on local pricing; http://www.ibrew.com...ermaker-brewpot x3

You haven't factored, freight, duties and GST if you were to source from the USA.

Cheers

Double the USA price. ****.
Yeah I know but freight from the US is usually about $200 per pot plus if it's over $1000au is 13% extra in duties and stuff (that's what retail pay)
I've contacted belchmann directly and they understood about the shipping price but recommended I get it locally.

Dudes,
Sorry, but we got a buyer, so she's all done. Thanks for the interest.

FYI, the pots are 208L, we aimed for a 220L batch knowing how much would be lost due to evaporation, boil overs, dead space in the kettles, etc, and usually getting after dilution post boil dead on 200L.
The gear was originally purchased through Betta Brew/iBrew, and I'd def chose the same if I had the time over again. Blichmann is awesome brewing gear.

Cheers,
Tim
