Hi All
I wish to setup a 1V RIMS system and have a couple of questions in regard to it.
I intend to use a 60lt pot (400 x 400 mm) with a 30lt pot (350dia x 370mm h) as the malt pipe/grain pot.
My thoughts were to have a central pipe in the 60lt pot attached to a pipe in the center of the 30lt pot. This would slide into the 60 lt central pipe making it removable. the 30 lt pot would also have the mesh "filters" etc and the liquid would be pumped up through the grain bed ala Braumiester.
My questions are:
1. Is the 30lt pot large enough?
2. Would a brown pump be suitable?
I have attached a drawing (basic) of what I am planning.
Comments will be appreciated.
Cheers
