Sorry to hear that mate.........the Surry Hills bit that is but welcome to brewing. My advice is to totally **** the first few brews so you learn what not to do. After you have fucked up a few, you will be just as experienced as anyone on this forum.....

I have never driven a truck or train and I couldn't if you asked me. That doesn't mean I couldn't learn it. My brother is a truck driver and he has a multitude of licenses but even he would not consider his profession high skilled.

I am not trying to upset you. I am just saying that I view train driving similar to say truck driving. Yeah, you have to have all your licensing and what not, and you can be good at your job but its not something I consider highly skilled.

Stu, you have made a number of good points in this thread none of which had the pointless venom of this comment so at this stage I think it prudent that you enlighten us all as to the train driver procurement process. I would imagine that is something that only the top 95% of Aussies would be...

Your right...I have no idea what it takes to be a train driver but I'm pretty sure there is no educational requirement. You pull me up about pulling shit from my arse then in the same sentence you do exactly the same. The point is, even if it takes months it is low skilled.

What does this have to do with pay?
