From your post I can see a few probs, breaching the seal will give you a cave of ice in the freezer section, also your lines will freeze up as mine do just resting on the element in the fridge. If you post up some pics of your fridge with a keg in it for comparison someone may have a bit more...

I use my Evacool esky with a napi san solution, an aquarium heater, pump to keep it circulating around, a foam lid and a digital thermometer to keep an eye on it. It works well and keeps an even 18C or what ever set to.

You are right about the looking crap part! I have made up some out of .50 cal rounds and an M12 nut will screw to the tap, you may be able to create something and insert the nut, probably cheaper and will give you leverage......... Or just make a backing plate and move your taps lower........

Depending of the temp brewed at I have had a few stall and re-activate a day or two later, also could have been the temp of the sample taken.

I thought you might have, I would be worried (as I am a heavy handed *******) that I would nick the poppet or similar. I was going to do something similar but retain the relief valve also, but due to the success that I have with force carbing it never eventuated.

Just noting that you removed the relief valve, how do you now burp the keg and drop your pressure from 250kpa?

Well I have finished the bar and while I was at it I put in 2 more taps!

I use a small Argon reg from a portable mig set up, tee piece to reg then set dispensing pressure and off to splitter manifold. ATM I have 2 for dispensing and 1 for carbing or dispense.

Suchidog, there is two drip trays end to end. Thought I would update my set up and added two more taps to my humble little rig, I can only fit 3 kegs in and retain the door compartments.
