So the aim is to get as big a mash vol as possible without spilling over? By taking out the 3L-ish you allow the grain to displace the water without spilling over then topping up to the brim ya?

Yup I saw the same Handy seller stuff last night on ebay also and was impressed with the 50L price tag and being stainless and all. I reckon i will grab one as well, looks solid and good to kn ow the 71L one was a "solid bit of kit". good stuff. cheers

Gday, just wondering if anyione has tried ESB's Ezybrew kits, the 4.5L of brewed liquid that you purchase and add 18L to. I have heard mixed reviews and some are pretty old, wondering if anyone has used them recently, particlaurly the Little Creatures clone. Cheers
