Hello all

I got a bag of us05 in a delivery the other day that had a tear in it. Was a bit of yeast floating around the box, no idea how much had come out...needless to say got it refunded.

Putting down an ipa tomorrow night using 05, anything I could use a half empty bag for?

Cheers

Yeast nutrient sounds good...

I suppose more concerned as the pack was open if it would still be good to use...Still pretty new to this, and am possibly a bit over the top with my sanitation

Better over than under. Would you use a bandaid that had been left half open?

Makes good landfill
Dry yeast that is open to the air is a great way to infect a beer, there are a bunch of bugs out there that will live in/eat yeast, multiply happily, and do the same in your beer.
