if using dry yeast and rehydrating can/do you add this to a starter? or is the rehydrating the some as a yeast starter?
happy with my brewing now want to move into yeast starters/washing/farming etc..

Your re-hydrated yeast is basically your starter. A starter is generally used when using a liquid yeast to build up from a small amount of yeast.

cheers thanks for the reply. if I got this right after washing yeast i use a starter then add that with washed yeast in it to wort right?

Your washed yeast is added to wort to make your starter, stirplates are a great tool to have if you want to go down that path... It's almost a whole hobby by itself

cheers yob great help whats the hop sensation going to be this year any inside tips?

Yes.
Make sure to aerate your batch when you transfer you wort into the fermenter onto your starter.
