Hi

Ive had a bit of a seach and a few bids on Ebay, but with no luck. Is there anyone in Oz that sells industrial thermometers online? Or retails them in Perth? I'm talking about the bi-metal probe thermometers with an integral 1/2" BSP thread.

Thanks

Ben

Hello Screwtop,
They are 60mm across Dial face with actual length of probe 135mm (+ screw thread). All up 150mm in length. There is also an adjusting screw on the rear.

I remember someone from here posting the original link

Reply from John at G&G to my enquiry re these thermometers

"They are Tel tru thermometers branded as fermentap, Male threaded 1/2" BSP thread, The external diameter of the face - ie including the outer ring is 80mm".

$109 with 6" probe in stainless.

I have actually had some bi-metal thermometers custom designed for brewing they are in the country, they have cleared customs, but due to a mail redirection Australia Post has misplaced them (I have been onto them) but I expect to have them within a week, shall post pics when they arrived.

I have ordered a product sample of 100 units, they have a 4inch face, custom dial, 6inch stem, 1/2 inch thread SS 304. AHB cost for the product sample 35.00 plus postage or you can pickup if you are brissy based.

i am also interested. looking forward to the pics

At the risk of hijacking this post with my own sale.......I have 2 spare dial bulkhead thermometers exactly like the ones that PhilS and Linz have linked to. I bought 6 to try and reduce my shipping costs as I wanted 3. Total cost was AUD$240. I am not trying to make any profit from these so they are $40 each. Pick up is available in Adelaide or else I can send them in the post. PM me for details.

I'll take two if you are willing to ship across the ditch

I would also like 2 or 3.
I assume they are designed witha bulkhead fitting?

I am picking up a shipment of bi-metal thermometers tomorrow, I had a custom brewing face put on and a temperature range that is suited to brewing tasks. I shall post a pic when I have picked them up.

I shall probably sell a few on this board before putting them up on ebay.
