Before running off to the warehouse, why not try a home brew store? Specifically a site sponsor? Noted you're in Brisbane so -

If you can't get some second hand ones try both those stores out. The level of service you get and aftermarket support warrants the store purchase alone. And considering this one comes with a tap, airlock, clear lid and is cheaper than the big green shed I think it would be a travesty to put your hard-earned elsewhere. Or spend $5 more and get a 30l.

I would be wary about second hand fermenters... Who knows what people have done to them and how rigorous they have cleaned them.

Have had plenty of used fermenters over the years and never had an issue.

i bought mine from Supercheap Auto, screw top, 25L and it was on special for $20, think they are normally $25
