Hi Guys,

Made up a "Sauvin Lager" on Wednesday evening, OG 1.050 and pitched a Whitelabs German Lager yeast at around 24DegC, and let it drop down to 13deg overnight. 36hrs later and still no activity and am getting worried... does this yeast just take a little while to get going?

Thanks

how big was your starter? If you pitch around 2L worth it should fire in around 10-12hrs but if only 1L it make take 2 days. Give the fermenter a little swirl and wait and see..

I didn't use a starter! (And never have/had to) for Whitelabs yeast. All have fired up within 24hrs in the past.
