Had the new india black ale at white rabbit today. They use the same malt as the dark ale with US (citra and cent or cascade) and UK hops. Very tasty. More roast malt character than hop.
The guy there said the have two fermenters freed up for more specialty brews in the future.
 
I like the pie shop next door.. WR are OK I guess.. Lost their edge IMO.

Has been a while between drinks though (because of that)
 
Same. Love the Dark Ale and just trying my first White Ale. I'm going to have to try this one too.
 
It would be great if White Rabbit released some single batch beers in pint bottles like Little Creatures.
I would love to taste there take on a Dark IPA and other brews.
 
Agree with Yob - WR are OK.. their Dark Ale used to be the dux nuts, but their constant changing of the recipe (which in itself isn't a bad thing) has ended up spawning at last taste, a boring middle of the road ale. Haven't tried it for a while, but will give it another go later on down the track.
