Hi,

I have a Kegmate fridge and I am now looking to get a tower and some taps to use with it.

I've been looking at eBay and have come across these:

TWIN CHROME TAP BEER TOWER,BEER FONT FOR HOME BREW - $140
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=330318953707

Dual Draft / Draught Tap Fount Font Beer Tower NEW!!!!! - $84.99
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=280329456703

Please can I get some advice on which are the better of the two and if anyone on the forum has any experience with either of them?

Alternatively, is there anywhere else I can look to get something in this sort of price range?

Cheers,

Chris

G'day Chris,
As far as alternatives in this price range if there are others I don't think they will be any better or worse. I would personally go for the $140 ones as they have flow compensation which eliminates the need for metres of beer line coiled up in your kegmate. I know a couple of guys on the forum have purchased these but I haven't heard feedback on how they are pouring etc.
You do get what you pay for as far as quality is concerned so I'm unsure on how long the chrome finish will last etc as well as in integrity of the brass and whether it will leech any nasties into your beer in the long term but beer on tap at that price is hard to ignore :)
Good luck with it bloke !
Cheers
Doug
