Which Jg Female Adaptor For Mybeershop Tap

I was hoping someone might know which JG femail adaptor will work with the long shank flow control tap from mybeershop

Female Adaptor
Female Adapator - Thread 1/2" BSP x OD 5/16" (8mm)
Female Adaptor - Thread 5/8" BSP x OD 5/16" (8mm)

On their site it says to drill a 21mm hole for the shank, so i'm not sure. 1/2" is 12mm, 5/8" is 16mm. Looks like neither mate?

A 21mm hole would indicate that its 1/2" thread (-8 size)

Per the table here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_standard_pipe_thread

5/8" thread has OD of almost 23mm (-10 size)

But I would be inclined to ring them and ask before ordering

You need the 5/8" fitting Poompy. There is a recent thread on the confusion created by the sizes. The size refers to the inside diameter of the thread not the outside diameter.

21mm OD of shank means its 5/8" BSP

BUT a 21mm hole might be too small for that... BUT if you drill a hole with a 21mm hole saw, you get about a 23mm hole

Yeah, a 21mm hole is not quite big enough
i bought a cheapie 21mm hole saw from china on fleabay, and had to file it out a little bit
