Hey guys, moving up another step in my brewing to improve my output.
Looking to get a 25 pr so litre pot for a full boil, any suggestions on where to get one without breaking the bank?

Or commandeer a decommissioned commercial keg, angle grind out the top and fit a tap etc...

I bought the CB 70ltr model, has a pre drilled hole for the tap. It was only $140 odd dollars and is a ripper. If I decide to ditch the bag and go with a 3v system down the track I can still use it!

there is a $2 shop near BCF at cannon hill that has thin walled SS pots in a range of sizes
form 10L up to what might be 80/100L ? (i cannot understand the Chinese and the labels just dont say how big in numbers...)
the big one is $99 (80/100L?)

Asian shops in springwood / inala / valley might also be worth a look ?

80L pots at AJ trading (near the valley train station) for $99 are pretty good value. They are thin SS but i never scorched the bottom, even with a 32 jet mongolian

QCC Catering Equipment and Rewards Distribution's Hospitality Superstore are both over near shaftston avenue, both'll take eftpos and you dont need an ABN. Bullshit them that you work for a particular restaurant and they'll give you hospitality prices no problems.

Go to QCC though, rewards are ******* retards, and qcc have a better range anyway. They'll have both inexpensive thin-walled pots and also high end pots, so they're worth a browse in any case. And a full range of aluminium naturally

If you're going to go the hospitality supplies route, try and find second hand stuff. Restaurants and cafes go out of business every day. There are always auctions and liquidations etc going on (a lot of places specialise in these). You can certainly pick up a bargain if you look in the right place.
