thats them schooey. i havent used them pumpy but they came highly recommended to me a fair while back. i get mine from orange.
i find the supermarket ones tend to be missing out on aroma so you need twice as much.

Is that what they use on grapes in Wine making ?
will that affect the yeast?

I droped 2 packs of the supermarket frozen fruit in a fermenter and racked onto it. After a week of soaking it had (the fruit) gone white and the beer was pink. But it grew something nasty on the top and i tipped it.
exactly what i use it forI believe campden tablets are used to kill wild yeast. It is what they use in wine making. The 24 hour wait allows the active ingredient to decompose to the point where it won't effect the yeast. Without the wait it would probably kill the yeast.
