Hi,

I've got a Coopers Wheat Beer Kit and 40g Hallertau hops. I've got quite a bit of Light and Dark Malt extract on hand.
Does anyone have a good recipe to use the above in? I'd be interested in adding coriander for a crisp taste.

Would honey be any good in a recipe?

Anyway, I'm interested to hear some recipes and methods.

Cheers

Daron

U could try the following.

Use 500gms of dextrose/wheat malt with 500gms of Honey.
If no wheat malt then use 250 LME with 250 dextrose and 500 honey.

do a 20 min Boil with the dextrose/wheat malt and 15gms of Hallertae hops.

Last 5mins of boil add:
10 gms of Hallertaue hops with ground spices of 1/2teaspon of cinamon, nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon of cumin and coriander - add a tablespoon of Orange zest - seville.
2mins of boil - add-
5gms of Hallertae hops with 1/4 teaspoon of cumin and coriander - add a tablespoon of Orange zest - seville and a large pinch of ground cloves.

strain into fermenter and add can.

I have a 3944 Belgian wit yeast or the Belgian Abbey II yeast u can use.

If u make it up on Sunday for teh AG Day - then we can make your wheat beer on the BBQ Wok Burner.

Hope this helps.
