From my point of veiw the filtering of my beer has improved not only the presentation but my time from fermenter into the keg and dispensing .

It seems a bit tedious process .

I only have two kegs which I hope to increase to four.

I dont filter brown ales for some strange reason they alway clear quickly .

Pumpy :)

One two-lettered abbreviation.

AG.

My mill - giving me a better crush and meaning I can keep more grains on hand.

My NASA burner - saving time and giving a good strong boil.

Wait a minute, that's two things.

My peristaltic pump  Hasn't improved my beer but has dramitacally improved the process. Finding new uses for it every day...
On the beer front, I guess having fresh hops on hand has seen the biggest improvement in my beers.

cheers Ross

I'm with AdamT.

I'll never be able to make this big an improvement in my beers ever again!!!

Yep I always feel happy about the hoppy in 90 gram foil bags ;)

This might sound simplistic, but for me it was brewing it at home.

Good fermentation temperature control and good quality ingredients.

Cheers

Maybe brewing it at work will be next years improvement.
LOL

A mate & I used to do kits at work - at lunchtime in the media lab.
Nice clean environment and big fridges to cc in. B)

The single biggest thing that improved my beer in 2006 was starting to home brew in Feb. I'm now enjoying all-grain brewing (when i have time), and everything from fresh wort kits to partial mashes as well.

Merry Christmas all!

Going from can kit beer to partial mashing. Lots of help from the Grumpy's, and this website. :beerbang:

Hopefully the first big AG isnt too far away.

my kegging setup was purchased earlier this year and so far is my biggest.

Next year AG.

For me it was finally realising that I had to filter the chlorine out of my mash/sparge water ... goodbye to astringency and really poor efficiency. :)

here is the one thing that has changed my brewing in 2006!!! God its good to have it up and running

cheers
