Hi

I saw Doc & Ross recently mention in the beer filter thread that an MFT keg disconnect was superior to a barbed keg disconnect.

I've never heard of an MFT disconnect - what is it & why is it better? Any chance of a pic?

Thanks

Jez

here's a linky to a post where the merits of different methods were discussed ...
Quick disconnects

...this bloke from the states has a few pages devoted to the subject of flare fittings ...
why i hate barbed fittings

I started out trying to go down the flared fittings road so everything in my setup could be easily transported, assembled, interchanged etc ...

Along the way I discovered push connect fittings ...so, now I'm fairly happy with my layout etc and I use barbed, MFL and push connect.

If I decided to go all one type, I think I'd go push connect (John Guest). Hope this helps?
