I'm guessing you're making an ice jacket to keep another keg cold?
Have you thought of getting an off cut of some large PVC pipe?
This would have the added benefit of not having any ridges, or bits that wold hinder pulling the mold out of the ice...

In which case, have you considered that as the ice at the keg melts, the resulting water pocket insulates the keg from the ice to some extent? Maybe not such a big deal with a keg, but the old idea of freezing a chiller coil in ice has been found to suffer badly from that effect.
