Usa Craft Breweries

Hey,

I'm heading over to the USA in Dec 08 / Jan 09.

I was wondering if any of you guys could recommend some good beers to drink and more importantly craft breweries to visit?

I'll be heading to New York City, Miami, Las Vegas, Las Angeles etc.

I'd suggest perusing Ratebeer for places you may be visiting.

Both of what the other guys said in terms of the websites to check out.

New York would be the best of those cities in terms of good beer bars and good selection while Miami and Vegas are great cities they are hardly known for their better beer selection. Still, a lot of casinos in Vegas probably have a MUCH better selection than the casinos here.

Once you get to LA drive 1.5 hours south to San Diego. An epicentre of great microbreweries and the bars to back them up.

Enjoy your trip...I'm jealous!

im also heading over there at the end of september im going to Ohio, Louisville and Nashville
