The burner is called on ahb a Nasa, its an excellent burner.

That reg is no good, it is only 100kPa
You want an adjustable 0-400kPa
such as http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Propane-high-pressu...=item3f03dd3bb3

Auscrown here in Australia is one place that sells the adj reg locally.

He talks about postage for up to 4 burners is the same
4 x $20 + $45 post = $125
$125 / 4 = about $30 each into Aust.
$30 + local postage out I think you will sell them easily. and get a cheap good burner in the process.

edit: The 9kg LPG bottle will run it no problems.
edit2: They call them a Nasa burner, guess why

Thanks for the input.

I might look into buying a few of these then, makes sense to buy the 4 of them, then offload the rest cheaply to fellow members!

I'll look into Auscrown, any idea on the cost locally? They dont list prices.

You could always find 3 others local to you to split costs...

check ya pm's

Primus makes them as well - with stand and a dodgy looking reg, costs around $150 for the lot (which is a lot).

Just realised a mistake I made... the reg for these is a 0-207kPa (no need for the 400kPa)

I could be interested. How much wort could these things boil up? How much would it be for burner and reg?

at 150000BTU's id prob say 100+lts thats 3 times as much as the rambo burner (50MJ is 47390BTU) puts out amusing thats a "true" number
