I have a load of this hose left at work, it's vinyl but I think better quality than the standard garden hose stuff as we use it to transfer water from our DI water system to our analysers. Is anyone using this or something similar and how does it go with hot wort? Looking at the specs on t'internet it is rated up to 60C

Not that hot when transferring but was also thinking about being able to boil to sterilize.
Then forget about it and just get some silicon hose... It's not that expensive, high temp rated and food safe

Find another use for it. Not necessarily familiar with that exact type but have used similar looking and tasted plastic in the end beer. Rather it goes to waste than your beer.

I've used that stuff as a gas line to go from bottle to 3 way manifold. Great fit for the 7mm barb fittings
