Left a hefe hydro sample out overnight. I often like to see what gets picked up.

For most of the year, nothing happens unless it goes outside. This picture is the result of less than 24 hours in my kitchen, under the eave of a cupboard.

We didn't taste but it smells earthy, dense dry flower like, and with an odd cornflake aroma (pretty sure there was no DMS in the wort).

Them wild yeasts is everywhere in this heat!

Tim t would make sourdough out of it with some random medieval herbs :)
