Thermowell for 5L Demijohn

Hi there,

Am looking for a way to get a thermowell into a 5L glass Demijohn ... and in fact if there are ready made versions for that size demijohn ?

I have my temp probe on the outside and the whole demi-john wrapped in a bit of foam camping mat as insulation.

The yanks seem to like to use demi-johns and have special caps for them which allow for thermowells, but I think it is mostly bigger sizes.

yeah, that's the way I will likely go... and buy a bung without a hole, and experiment with the thermowell

I just got a little excited with setting up a brewpi system in the shed.... anyway, time to brew, not fiddle with electronics all night
