I made up this recipe myself after looking for a clone of JS pilsner and not finding anything hard n fast. I don't have any JS pils here to compare it with so not sure how close it came to the mark but it tastes so farking good I just had to post it. :icon_drool2:

DRUNKEN SQUIRE PILSNER
Extra pale malt liquid extract 3kg

Carapils grain 250g

Saaz Hops 85g

Yeast W34/70



Steep Grain 30mins @ 65-70 deg C



Hops

Saaz 45g @ 45mins

Saaz 30g @ 15mins

Saaz 10g @ 5mins



Rehydrate yeast.

Make up to 21 litres


BREWERS NOTES



3.4kg Malt extract. Deliverance cans 1.7kg each

Adjusted hop schedual for NZ Saazs

Ferment @ 12deg C



OG 1052

FG 1014



5.1% Alc/vol



Yeast Att: 73%

NZ Saaz are higher AA% so using the same times I used 30g, 20g and 10g.
Also crash chill at 2deg for 3 days before kegging.

not a bad start, but you'll need some Munich malt and scrap the carapils. I'm pretty sure the pilsner is just pils malt + munich malt.
