Hi all,

I'm wondering what is going to be the best place for the temperature probe for my serving freezer. Initially I had it taped to the side of the freezer but was getting inconsistent results.

I've currently got it sitting in a container of water in the freezer but was wondering whether I could just cable tie it to the steel shelf I've got in there. I want something that is going to provide a reasonable average of the temperature.

Where do people currently fit the temperature probes for controlling their freezers ?

Thanks,

gary

I think as long as you have a fan in the fridge, the place for the probe is unimportant because of the forced convection. In theory you should have the same temperature everywhere in the fridge.
