Tasmanian Rice Hulls

Calling all taswegians. Just wondering if there is anyone interest in a bulk buy for some rice hulls.

I've only rung up one place and they quoted me $170 for a 120kg bale. Thats a bit too $$ and bulky for just me.

i realise that this is an old thread, but did you end up finding somewhere to purchase rice hulls from? 120kg worth must have been freakin' huge!

Check out your local farm & feed store.....Coprice do a bale of about 10kg I think......

You should be able to order i think about a 15kg bale for approx $45 from Animal Tuckerbox... i called coprice and they put me onto a wholesaler who sold it to AT...

15kg would last years....and years..

A tip for using them. Give them a rinse first on hpt water. Let them sit for 20mins then rinse, then spak again then rinse. Hulls can cause mild astringancy.
