Howdy all

Bought this fwk ImageUploadedByAussie Home Brewer1394933345.193234.jpg

Plan is to turn it into an American IPA.

Going to do a 5 litre boil with 1kg of LDM. This is my hop schedule less the magnum as it's already in the FWK. Gives IBU of 54.9 which I'm happy with.

Will also dry hop 30g Nelson and 20g centennial.

Am I on the right track here? Anything to watch out for?

Cheers Steve.

Have you run that grain bill through a beer designer (say BeerSmith) and added your LDM in to get an idea of expected colour?
Just take a guess at the Cafa Munich 4% EBC....

K

Cafa Munich must be a typo for Caramunich right? Caramunich is 70 ebc from memory.

Colour is black. Almost stout like. So the LDM wouldn't have done much for colour.

Put it down yesterday and even chucked in 10g of centennial at 5mins.

Will see how we go

Thanks guys

How did this turn out? Have you compared it to the original fwk brewed normally?

Cheers
