What do u use red x with post me a recipe and i will probably try it

To be honest I do not have a specific recipe that I am going to use it for. I intend to experiment with a variety of recipes, such as swapping the maris otter out of the Rogers Beer I made last weeknd and comparing the 2 recipes.

I want to put it in with roasted malts and see what colours I get......maybe also in a red irish ale. Not sure, will have a try and if it doesn't really work out I will drink the evidence.

I like the experimentation of brewing more than anything else. Different malts, different yeasts, see what happens.

Ive made a couple red X beers . 100% red x targeting 1053 OG. The first beer was all late hopped with Columbus/Mosaic @20m, 10m and Whirlpooled for 10mins to achieve 35ibu. Dry hopped that one with 3g/L of Equinox.

The next one is currently in the threads what are you brewing and what's in the glass called Slaughterhouse Ale:

Hey mate

I have to wait for all the payments to come through as 2 pallets costs us about $4,000 i can't afford to shell out for it in advance. Most a re through ill get on to the stranglers next week who have not. Once i place the order (next week) it will take a few days for it to leave the supplier. Seeing as it is a short week next week the pallets probably won't arrive here till after easter and will be ready for pick up the next weekend
