I just did a quick compare:
All 12.7mm (1/2") internal diam silicone hosing,

OD - Store - $/m
19.5mm - Gryphon - $9.95 (Heavy duty)
20mm - Craftbrewer - $15.95 (Heavy duty)
19.05mm - Craftbrewer - $8.95 (Medium Duty)
18mm - Keg King - $4.95

So it seems that What Gryphon are calling Heavy duty is in between what Craftbrewer call heavy and medium duty. On their website they have a similar indirect statement.

Has anyone had major problems with KK hosing?

I've got a couple of meters of KK hosing - no problems at all. It's great.

G&G hose is about double the wall thickness of KK

Mine (G&G) is still like new after almost 3 years of regular brewing, no stain, no kinks - great stuff

I have both the gb thick stuff and the cb thin stuff. No probs with either, the thin stuff is easier to clamp though. I use shorter lengths of it on the pump and sight gauge. The thick stuff gets used where I have to put it over a lip, doesn't kink. Horses for courses.

I got mine from Mash Master and it has been great. I have the heavy duty which is $ 15.75.
